It is my pleasure to welcome you to Edna Manley College and to introduce you to the Student Services department. The department comprises Housing, Counseling Services, Health Services, and Sports and gives oversight to International Students and the Student Council. Student Services is also responsible for Orientation programming and coordinates exchange programmes. The mission of the Student Services department is to enhance the overall experience of students at EMC and to provide programming that caters to the welfare, development and success of our students.
Student Services is committed to the development of students and provides a variety of co-curricular programming and services. The combined units of the department are here to support students by providing advice and guidance and to serve as a contact for problems and concerns. College is a unique time in your life, so make the best of this experience and learn all you can! I encourage you to participate in campus activities, productions, clubs and programming, read the bulletin boards and your college email and commit to engaging fully in student life and all that this campus has to offer. In doing so, you will fully be able to follow the College’s motto to “create, persevere, achieve!"
